Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers within an agile environment, fostering a culture of best practices, continuous learning, and technical excellence. End-to-End Data Engineering :

Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines and processing systems using tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Python, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Client-Facing Solution Delivery :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring delivery of high-quality, context-rich data products. Operational Excellence :

Write efficient, defensive code and drive performance, reliability, and observability for large-scale data systems operating in production. Strategic Impact :

Contribute to architectural decisions, shape data engineering standards, and play a key role in solving complex problems across domains like fraud detection, risk analytics, and customer intelligence. Candidate Profile

A degree in business, information technology , or a related field. Proven Experience :

6+ years in data engineering, with a track record of designing and delivering large-scale, production-grade data solutions; experience in leading or mentoring teams is a strong plus. Data Engineering Tools :

Hands-on expertise with

Databricks ,

Apache Spark , and

PySpark

is essential for building and managing scalable data pipelines. Programming Skills :

Strong proficiency in

Programming (Python / Scala)

• for data engineering tasks;

Scala

is a plus but not compulsory. Cloud & Architecture :

Solid experience working with cloud platforms (preferably

Azure , but AWS / GCP also relevant), including orchestration tools. Business-Facing Communication :
