Optometrist

Perform thorough optometry services in compliance with clinical standards and operating procedures.

Examine patient's eyes to detect signs of disease, abnormality or vision defects using appropriate instruments and techniques.

Provide clinical advice on visual problems and eye glasses prescription.

Perform pre- and post-operative counselling and care for refractive surgical procedures (eg, LASIK, SILK, ICL, IPCL & RLE).

Conduct diagnostic testing and eye assessment for both general eye disease and laser vision correction procedures.

Handling in Myopia Control Program and Specialty contact lens (eg, RGP, Ortho-K).

Assisting ophthalmologist and serve as technician in the LASIK Operating Theatre during Laser Vision Correction surgeries.

Job requirements

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Optometry
• Registered with the Malaysian Optical Council
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self motivated and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in a laser vision correction environment is an advantage.
• A willingness to travel within the Perak region will be considered an advantage
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
