Overview
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for new and ongoing projects.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of project cost control and financial reporting.
- Conduct tendering processes, including preparing bills of quantities and evaluating contractor bids.
- Negotiate and manage subcontracts, supplier agreements, and change orders.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed monthly valuations and cost reports.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams to support project delivery.
- Prepare final accounts and resolve any commercial disputes or claims.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors within the team.
