Job Summary
Responsible for the daily operations of the manufacturing section, ensuring accurate execution of production plans. Through effective resource allocation and production control, this role aims to improve production efficiency and product quality to achieve the companys business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Production Planning and Execution
Arrange production tasks based on issued production plans to ensure timely completion.
Ensure proper allocation of materials, equipment, and personnel for stable production.
Monitor production progress and address unexpected events or abnormalities to maintain smooth operations.
2. Production Efficiency Improvement
Promote Lean Production concepts and continuously optimize process workflows to enhance efficiency.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and formulate improvement plans to reduce waste and defect rates.
Improve equipment utilization, reduce downtime, and enhance production capacity.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting
Regularly organize and analyze production data (output, efficiency, defect rates), report findings to management, and propose improvement suggestions.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of production records for traceability and audit purposes.
4. Quality Control
Collaborate with the quality department to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
Organize analysis and resolution of quality issues within the manufacturing process.
Implement internal quality inspection plans to prevent mass defects.
5. On-Site Management and Workplace Safety
Maintain cleanliness and order in the production area by implementing 6S management (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).
Enforce workplace safety standards to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
Provide regular safety and operational training to reduce workplace accidents.
6. Personnel Management
Oversee work assignments, performance evaluations, and training plans for the production team.
Guide team leaders and front-line operators in daily tasks to improve skill levels and execution.
Foster team spirit and promote a positive working environment and morale.
7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Maintain close communication with planning, quality, equipment, and engineering departments to coordinate and resolve production issues.
Support pilot runs and new product introductions by providing technical input and ensuring resource readiness from the manufacturing side.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in production planning, material management, and quality control principles.
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 6S management, and ISO standard operating procedures.
Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in operating ERP / MES systems.
Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with China counterparts.
