Company background : The company supplies lightweight, environmentally friendly NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) solutions to vehicle manufacturers.

Job Overview

Lead the production team to align with the company's operational strategy, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused production activities. Oversee production planning, cost control, warehouse & logistics, technology development, and quality & safety management to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Operations Management
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders, market forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor production progress, resolve material shortages, equipment failures, or workforce issues, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Set cost control targets, define key cost drivers, and implement cost reduction measures.
  • Plan department structure, headcount, and role descriptions aligned with business development needs.
  • Warehouse & Logistics Management
  • Plan warehouse layout to optimize storage space and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain warehouse management procedures for standardization and compliance.
  • Manage transportation planning, evaluate logistics providers, and coordinate warehouse-logistics operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Technology Development & Mold Control
  • Collaborate with technical teams on new product, process, and material development.
  • Organize project reviews, provide resources to address deviations, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Participate in mold acceptance and evaluations per project plans.
  • Quality & Safety Management
  • Oversee product quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Implement workplace safety protocols and foster a safe production environment.
  • Collaboration Scope
  • Internal : Supply chain, procurement, equipment, EHS, quality departments
  • External : Logistics suppliers, raw material vendors, technical partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields (preferred).
  • Proven experience in production operations, warehouse & logistics, and quality management.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with cost control and safety management practices.
  • Over 10 years of industry experience with a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated capability in quality control and on-site management.
  • Familiar with key management systems : IATF formerly TS16949), ISO 14001, and OHSAS now succeeded by ISO
  • Proficient in injection molding processes using both dual‑color (two‑shot) and single‑color machines, including robotic automation and scientific (data‑driven) molding techniques Kaysun. Alternatively, skilled in extrusion molding and stamping (press‑forming) production methods.

    Pay : RM15, RM20,000.00 per month
