Job descriptionDiploma or Graduate in Mechanical / Production Engineering. Working experience in the manufacturing industry. Exposure to manufacturing practices such as machining, sheet metal, fabrication, castings, forgings, and plastics. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings. Hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly line operations (should costing experience is a plus). Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100, ISO Knowledge of safety systems (5S, OHSAS 18001, IEC 61508, etc.). Fluent in oral and written communication. Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Responsibilities :
- Analyze mechanical products at component, subsystem, and system level in the industrial domain.
- Evaluate production processes, tooling costs, and recommend alternatives or improvements.
- Identify and quantify cost factors across various mechanical products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for technical discussions and inputs.
- Conduct cost analysis reviews to investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in cost and manufacturing processes.
