Job Description
- This position will report to the Section Head / Asst.Manager
- Demonstrate the ability to perform all of the Machinist Grade I, II and III requirements
- Support all CNC manufacturing requirement with minimum supervision
- Ensure that all machines are running and meeting the production expectations
- Take full accountability on the overall production daily activities for MP (Mass Production) and
FA (First Article). Include the job order schedule plan.
Assists Manufacturing Engineering in machining adjustments and operational improvementEnsures strict tolerance requirements are maintained in the manufacture of parts.Ensures strict tolerance requirements are maintained in the manufacture of parts.Confers and corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages,shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.
Effectively communicates production requirements to team members.Ensures maximum efficiencies are being done by Leaders, Machinists and Operators while completedon time and with quality.
Ensure operation of equipment by coordinating repairs and preventative maintenanceEffectively coach team members to ensure they understand and actively participate in continuousCollects, submits and manages data to measure productivity, quality, and safety; using this data tosuggest and measure improvements to production processes.
Complete and manage production schedule for assigned area, giving input to other areas to setcompletion dates and priorities.
Qualifications
Diploma Certification in Mechanical,Manufacturing Technology or related field.All qualifications must comply with provincial human rights legislation.Qualifications include Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :i) Minimum 7 years working in experience related field
ii) Minimum 2-5 year of management or supervisory experiennce
iii) Leadership experience
iv) Understand technical direction on blueprints,Job travelers and MS Office suite
