Java Back End Developer

Overview

We are hiring for a Software Engineer role. The position requires experience with AWS Cloud Platform, Java (SpringBoot), and related development practices. This role involves collaborating across Scrum teams in a decentralized, multi-country environment and ensuring coding standards and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories into technical implementation and deliver high-quality software.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owner, business analyst, QA, and Scrum Master to evaluate and develop products.
• Proactively communicate within and across Scrum Teams to manage dependencies and design discussions.
• Work in a decentralized Scrum team with matrix reporting across multiple countries (e.g., EU, Asia, US).
• Enforce coding standards, security compliance, and governance within the Scrum team; provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Establish and adhere to governance and security controls; document technical requirements to meet functional and business SLAs.
• Document technical requirements and runbooks in a way business users can understand; document issue resolution.
• Investigate and resolve incidents reported by consumers; conduct vulnerability assessments and contribute to security policy reviews.
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation with other teams; monitor security dashboards and alerts for potential threats.
