About the role

The Treasury Data Entry Associate is a critical administrative role within the Finance & Treasury function. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the mechanical accuracy, consistency, and efficient processing of daily payments, banking operations, and financial reconciliations.

This position is ideal for an individual who is highly detail-oriented, finds satisfaction in routine and repetitive tasks, and maintains a proactive, disciplined approach to essential back-office operations. This is an execution-focused role where precision and stability are the key measures of success, supporting the foundational integrity of the company's financial operations.

The successful candidate will work independently, comfortable with process-driven work, and focused on consistent quality in all tasks.

  • Load and submit payment batches in line with established treasury cut-off times and internal controls.
  • Assist with the administration of payment approvals and bank platform workflows.
  • Prepare and manage banking documentation, including completing template forms for account changes, mandates, and KYC requests.
  • Liaise with banks and internal teams to resolve transactional concerns, payment queries, or unallocated receipts.

Data Entry, Reconciliation & Record-Keeping

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations by downloading transaction data (CSV files), matching records against internal systems, and diligently resolving any discrepancies or missing entries.
  • Organise, categorise, and post company card transactions and receipts into the relevant systems.
  • Run and compile routine financial reports, performing basic data aggregation and entry into spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel).
  • Maintain tidy, current, and accessible financial records and supporting documentation for all banking and payment activities.
  • Process Documentation & System Support

  • Contribute to internal knowledge management by creating and updating process documentation, checklists, and step-by-step notes detailing operational procedures.
  • Support adherence to internal treasury policies and financial controls.
  • Assist with system administration tasks, such as data entry and testing routines for treasury or ERP system integrations.
  • Qualifications

    Essential

  • Proven focus on accuracy and detail, with a track record of handling administrative, finance, or data-entry tasks consistently.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills; thrives on clear, structured routines and checklists.
  • A high degree of reliability and self-motivation; comfortable working independently and productively in a remote environment with minimal direct supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with comfort working with basic spreadsheets and data entry.
  • A professional and consistent approach; takes pride in doing a job properly, thoroughly, and without cutting corners.
  • Desirable

  • Previous experience in an administrative, finance, or accounts support role.
