Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and management reports to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Perform journal entries, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and manage credit control, aged collections, and fixed asset accounting.
- Oversee stock valuation, monitor slow-moving inventory, and coordinate annual stock take exercises to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements, including timely preparation and submission of financial reports under Companies Act 2016 and Income Tax Act.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and regulators to facilitate audits, reviews, and submissions.
- Prepare and support SST and corporate tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights, analysis, and support business decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.Prior experience in the automotive industry or a multinational environment is an advantage.Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO system (required).Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills preferred.Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS / MFRS) and tax regulations.Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive in problem-solving.Job Offer
