Responsibilities
- Work with the Business Analyst and the client to identify their requirements, design enhancements, and functionality to help meet user requirements.
- Provide functional process ownership of multiple business process areas.
- Organize and facilitate problem‑solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.
- Perform configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality.
- Responsible for configuration reviews and act as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas of expertise.
- Serve as functional integration owner for multiple process areas.
- Prepare functionality specifications and deliver them to ABAP developers.
- Create Functional Design Documents (FDD) based on Use Case Documents provided by the Business Analyst.
- Write detailed design specifications following Functional Specifications.
- Develop high‑quality solutions based on completed Functional Design Documents.
- Review developers’ Technical Design Documents (TDD), unit test plans, and quality assurance plans to ensure all requirements are met.
- Support developers and ensure they remain on target.
- Work with the user community to determine best solutions for customer problems and requirements.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers and the QA team to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements.
- Perform integration testing to ensure new functionality does not adversely affect existing systems.
- Transfer knowledge to functional analysts as necessary.
- Utilize ASAP methodology during each phase of the implementation.
- Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change‑control procedures, and best practices.
- Identify SAP solution possibilities and discuss options with business users.
- Develop specific SAP solutions from blueprinting, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Develop technical specifications for system enhancements.
- Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End‑user documentation, and user manuals.
Role Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.2 to 5 years SAP HCM experience in APJ Payroll and Time, with knowledge of Malaysia and Philippines payroll and experience in at least two additional APJ countries (e.g., Singapore and Thailand).Minimum 1 end‑to‑end implementation experience.2–5 years of parallel payroll testing experience.Knowledge of ESS / MSS and Fiori.Experience with SAP payroll configuration for Gross and Net payroll, Tax Reporter configuration.Experience in SAP Time Module.Experience in SAP HCM configuration, schema development, and writing PCRs.Experience creating and defining custom operations and rules.Experience with year‑end activities and support pack implementation.Extensive experience in compliance reporting for more than one country.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.At Strada, Our Values Guide Everything We Do
