Responsibilities
- Staff Management (manpower schedule)
- Attend briefing with staff and promoters
- Check staff attendance and attire
- Share yesterday sales achievement, today sales budget and up-to-date sales achievement
- Share information about customer voice and any arising issues
- Staff education — product knowledge for any highlight item / new arrival and promotion item
- Check attendance and manage department communications
- Document briefing information in the department communication book
- Paperwork
- Prepare daily DWS on the notice board (before store opens)
- Prepare DWS for next day, check manpower schedule and submit to manager / division leader for the day before 6 : 00 p.m. for verification
- Check department cleaning, freshness, etc. based on the DWS (Master Schedule) and note remarks
- Check attendance of amendments
- Sales Area Management / Management of Sales Floor
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor; improve merchandising display, decoration and POP
- Maintain lighting, fixtures and selling equipment
- Ordering : check daily updated requests and authorize store requisitions (3 days in advance)
- Check balance stock for ordering purposes
- POP & Price Card Availability : update POP, weekly selections, advertised items, J Card / Normal items; ensure POP has correct price, format and description; limit POP attachments per display
- Merchandise Management
- Production Management : ensure production level is sufficient; prepare sushi assortment before store opens; ensure staff to prepare / display / clean the counter; ensure correct pricing / POP; monitor stock levels
- Concess Counter operation readiness
- Non-Merchandise Management : maintain chiller / showcase condition; ensure no unused fixtures or trolleys; floor tiles in good condition; maintain pillars / walls without stains or posters
- Backroom Management (Loss Management)
- Price Alteration & PA Zero : daily PA Zero items; monitor price changes and ensure price cards / POP updated before store opens
- Loading Bay and Receiving : verify receiving quantities against R / N; collect merchandise promptly; check quality, freshness and quantity; reject non-quality or spoiled items
- Facility, Hygiene and Cleanliness : ensure lighting on selling floor (including fitting rooms); oversee cleaning processes per DWS; address promotion stock cleanliness; remove rubbish, stray strings or tape
- Weekly : Promotion Plan execution, stock checks, and layout compliance; ensure schedule, POP availability and stock levels; confirm weekly production and plan by 11 : 00 p.m. every Thursday
- Office Management : prepare weekly sales information, promotion reviews and slow-moving item reports
- Other Tasks : perform additional duties as assigned
- Attend department meetings with merchandiser and participate in staff meetings
