Butcher Assistant, Fish Cutter

About the role

Full-time Butcher Assistant and Fish Cutter role within Kanika (Malaysia). In this position, you will assist experienced butchers and fish cutters in the day-to-day operations of the meat and seafood departments, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting butchers and fisheries with cutting, trimming, removing scales, cutting slices, and packaging.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the work area
• Stocking and replenishing display cases with fresh meat and seafood items
• Prepare the change label weight or identification labels on salmon fish.
• Following all relevant health and safety regulations
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective department operations
