Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and disciplined Admin Assistant Intern to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands‑on experience in administration, business communication, and online business operations.

You will support daily administrative tasks, communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients and partners, and occasionally work on online store platforms. Since this is a remote position, strong self‑discipline and good time management are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily administrative duties, including emails, scheduling, and data entry
  • Prepare documentation, reports, proposals, forms, and filing in an organised manner
  • Communicate professionally in Mandarin and English with clients, partners, and suppliers
  • Translate basic documents and communication between Mandarin and English when needed
  • Maintain and update records, databases, and tracking sheets
  • Access and update online store platforms when required (orders, products, info updates)
  • Attend virtual meetings, take notes, and manage follow‑up tasks
  • Support management with ad‑hoc assignments and projects

Qualifications

To succeed in this internship, you should have most of the following qualities :

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written & spoken)
  • Requires own laptop and stable high‑speed internet for remote work
  • Currently studying / recently graduated in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, Accounting, or related fields (other fields are welcome if skills match)
  • Proficient with digital tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Slack / Zoom / or any remote collaboration tools
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Self‑disciplined and reliable, able to manage work without supervision
  • Excellent communication and teamwork mindset
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Previous admin / customer service / e‑commerce experience is a bonus, but not required
