Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, analyze findings, and identify user pain points to inform design decisions.
  • Design intuitive, high-fidelity, and inclusive digital products across platforms (mobile, desktop, web, voice, conversational).
  • Apply information architecture, heuristics, and universal design practices to improve usability, access, and inclusivity.
  • Translate user journeys into user flows, wireframes, prototypes (lo-fi and hi-fi), and final visual designs using Figma or equivalent tools.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components for consistency across platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, stakeholders) in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate designs to ensure products are user-friendly, accessible, and compliant.
  • Present design concepts and flows clearly to business and IT stakeholders, facilitating alignment and discussions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and compliance considerations, sharing best practices in risk management.
  • Support design of complex platforms (websites, mobile apps, admin panels) for diverse user groups and devices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in UX / UI or Interaction Design (IxD) with a strong, demonstrable portfolio.
  • Solid knowledge of user-centered design principles, information design, and user psychology.
  • Hands-on expertise in Figma, FigJam (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator a plus); familiarity with prototyping and collaboration tools.
  • Strong visual design and interaction design skills, with experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design systems.
  • Experience designing for complex, large-scale platforms across multiple device types.
  • Comfortable working in full SDLC environments (Agile / Scrum and Waterfall), collaborating with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions.
  • High integrity, accountability, adaptability, and proactive in continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • (Nice to have) Experience in system thinking, banking / financial services, or highly regulated industries.
