Job descriptionRegistered with DOSH as a Qualified Safety & Health Officer with a valid Green Book. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Environmental / Health / Safety) or equivalent. At least 5 years of working experience in the related to power plant construction or manufacturing or occupational safety and health field. Station at Cogeneration Plant, Port Klang Contract basis 12 months DOSH Green Book (Required)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To ensure compliance and to promote a safe conduct of work.
- To perform regulatory responsibilities prescribed in the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Officer) Regulations.
- To achieve the objective of protecting fellow workers from works hazards.
- OSH legislations; Occupational risk assessment; Preparation of safe operating procedure; Monitoring the effectiveness of control measures; Encouraging worker's participation; and Continuously improving to ensure sustained compliance to OSH law.
- Perform workplace inspection in reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the programmes implemented to reduces the accident / incident, unsafe act / unsafe condition at the site.
- Work closely with relevant authorities, such as Department Occupational safety and Health (DOSH), and Environment on matters related to HSE.
- Ensure all the machinery policies, procedure and instructions are comply with DOSH regulations.
