Job descriptionBachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of related working experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply). Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong computer drawing skills using AutoCAD (CAD) & SolidWorks. Basic knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Willingness to learn and adapt to new design software. Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and a good team player. Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Minyak,Pulau Pinang.
About the role
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team at U-Teknik Trading Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing switchboard systems that span across various industries such as commercial, industrial, and residential.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in new product design and development processes.
- Develop and prepare product drawings based on client requirements or project sketches.
- Ensure timely completion of formwork drawings to meet production schedules.
- Maintain proper design documentation and archiving.
- Safeguard and update product drawings.
- Provide technical support to clients when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design quality and accuracy.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the superior.
