Senior BackEnd Engineer (Node.js)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for our client. They are a fintech company empowering individuals to take control of their financial future through innovative, transparent, and user-friendly solutions. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll take the reins of building robust, scalable, and secure backend systems that power the digital wealth advisory platform. Beyond writing code, you’ll serve as the technical authority for backend development, defining how we design, scale, and secure services. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape best practices, set the technical bar, and ensure the backend function consistently delivers at the highest level.

• Define and enforce our backend engineering standards, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for backend architecture and technology choices.
• Design and implement scalable backend systems with a focus on long-term maintainability.
• Partner with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Guide and mentor other engineers by providing clarity, reviews, and technical direction.
• Implement best practices in data security and ensure compliance with financial regulations (GDPR, PCI DSS).
