Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Maintenance Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of facility maintenance to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable work environment for our employees.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment
  • Manage and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and external contractors
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential problems
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including cost estimation and control
  • Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Implement energy-efficient practices to optimize resource utilization
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment performance
  • Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance operations and key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Proficiency in facility management systems and strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Excellent budget management, vendor negotiation, and technical report writing skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and workplace safety standards
  • Certifications in facility management and knowledge of local building codes preferred
