Corporate Trainee – Network

Job purpose :

• The Corporate Trainee in Network Infrastructure is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems under the guidance of senior team members. This role is aimed at developing technical skills and gaining hands-on experience in network infrastructure, including routers, switches, proxies, and other network-related hardware and software.
• The trainee will assist in troubleshooting network issues, monitoring network performance, and collaborating with the team to ensure the stability and security of the network. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain foundational knowledge and experience in network infrastructure, preparing the trainee for a successful career in the field.

Key Activities :

Network & Security Infrastructure Corporate Trainee

Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining network-related operating systems, applications / software / management tools.

Perform first level support the LAN & WAN network, including Proxies

Managing and monitoring all installed network appliances, systems, and related IT infrastructure (cloud and on-premises).

Ensuring the highest levels of network connectivity and infrastructure availability and escalate to senior specialist or specialist in the team in a timely manner.

Monitoring network / system usage and health status in compliance with security policies.

ADDITIONAL TASKS :

Participate in other projects / tasks as assigned by Supervisor or manager.

Formal Education :

Candidate must possess at least bachelor's degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science.

Specialist knowledge

Preferably Entry Level specialized in Information Technology or equivalent.

No work experience required.

Minimum CGPA is 3.0 pointer

Strong team player with strong interpersonal and communicative skills.

Required language(s) : Fluent verbal and written in English required.

Required Skill(s) : MS Office and etc.

Additional :

Proficient in Microsoft 365, XenApp

Having experience in deployment / support / management for mainstream industry solutions will be added advantage. (Cisco, Firewall, Citrix, Bluecoat etc)

Knowledge of data protection regulations when dealing with IT in own area of responsibility within the Bank

NOTE

: Successful candidates will be employed on a 1-year contract directly under Commerz Global Service Solutions Sdn Bhd. Permanent employment will be offered as early as 6 months, based on the overall performance evaluation throughout the program.
