About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Staff to join our dynamic team at BESI ASIA ENGINEERING WORKS SDN BHD' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full-time Senior Account Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while contributing to the overall growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Prepare Debtor statements and Creditor Listing
Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account maintenance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry

Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using accounting software (Auto Count and Ubs) and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
