A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional Qualification such as ACCA / CPA / CIMA is and added advantage)

At least 5 years of experience in a similar Senior Accountant role, preferably in the manufacturing or warehouse.

Minimum 5-7 Years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Experience in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide valuable insights

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Proficient in the use of accounting software (UBS & SQL) and Microsoft Office suite

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with integrity.

English and Mandarin is an added advantage, as it helps in liaising with management and key stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

Assisting in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable (monthly debtors’ collection), accounts payable, and general ledger management.

Prepare various month-end and year-end process reconciliation including bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, stock reconciliation and etc.

Prepare and oversee management reports, monthly meeting report for all companies, year-end process and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Monitoring E-Invoicing, company tax documentation and submission.

Liaise with tax agents, external auditors, company secretary, banker and other relevant bodies, when required.

Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

Supporting the implementation of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Supervise and guide subordinate.

Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.
