Job description
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and projects, leading teams to deliver tax services effectively— including corporate tax planning, audits, and investigations. -Analyze developments in direct and indirect tax legislation (e.g., Income Tax, SST) and prepare technical write-ups or client circulars. -Assist in the preparation and review of presentation slides for tax webinars and training (e.g., monthly tax updates, real estate property gains tax (RPGT), corporate tax, transfer pricing, SST). -Provide in-depth technical advice on tax-related issues to internal staff and clients. -Liaise with relevant authorities such as the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) on tax matters. -Continuously monitor and interpret changes in tax laws and regulations. -Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time [Apply now at https : / / my.hiredly.com / jobs / jobs-malaysia-hiredly-x-job-assistant-manager-tax-expert]
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, with a major in Taxation preferred. -Professional qualifications such as CTIM, ACCA, or equivalent. -Minimum 5 years of working experience in a tax / accounting firm or a corporate tax department. -Strong understanding of tax rules, practices, and compliance requirements in Malaysia. -Keen interest and capability in conducting extensive tax research. -Proven experience in tax advisory, with the ability to provide accurate and practical solutions. -Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills. -Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
