Job description

Production Operations

  • Oversee planning and production of GCC and WGCC manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate between office and shop floor to implement efficient, safe production methods aligned with group standards.
  • Drive improvements in plant output and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain minimum operating efficiency and collaborate with engineering / maintenance teams to reduce bottlenecks.
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement areas.
  • Support work measurement and process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with quality management systems.
  • Assist in implementing and documenting process improvements.
  • Undertake additional assignments as directed by management.
  • Plan and monitor performance of equipment and facilities.
  • Enhance preventive maintenance programs for smooth plant operations.
  • Lead maintenance planning and execution to ensure system reliability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and uphold safe working practices per company regulations.
  • Track machinery performance and spare parts inventory.
  • Respond to breakdowns and manage maintenance schedules.
  • Carry out other relevant tasks assigned by management.

People Management

  • Supervise, motivate, and guide production staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Identify skill gaps and support training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address interpersonal issues and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Act as a communication bridge between management and shop floor employees.

    • Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in people management.
  • Experience in DCS or SCADA control system.
  • Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the mechanical / electrical maintenance requirements and procedures for relevant machinery and equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of personal computers and data entry as well as data compilation.
  • Good command of both oral and written local language and English are required.
  • Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial.
