Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of strategic social media initiatives, including campaign launches, brand activations and product rollouts.Manage content calendars, posting schedules and campaign timelines to ensure consistent and timely delivery.Integrate SEO principles into social media strategy and content planning to improve discoverability and engagement across search and social ecosystems.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Brand, Creative, Partnerships and Operations) to align messaging, objectives and performance goals.Localise content and messaging to reflect Malaysian market nuances while maintaining brand tone and global consistency.Identify opportunities to grow engagement and followers through relevant trends, collaborations and platform innovations.Content Development & Execution
Oversee the end‑to‑end content process across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.).Work closely with creative teams and external vendors to produce high‑quality, on‑brand visuals and copy.Review and approve content before publishing to ensure accuracy, cultural relevance and brand consistency.Manage influencer or creator collaborations, from brief development to performance tracking.Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor, analyse and report on social media performance, engagement rates and audience insights.Provide actionable recommendations to optimise future campaigns and content strategies.Maintain records, analytics dashboards and content libraries for internal reference.Collaboration & Team Support
Partner with the Brand & Campaigns Lead to drive brand‑building efforts through social storytelling.Collaborate with CRM and Partnerships teams to integrate social media into the broader marketing funnel.Stay informed on emerging trends, competitor activities and platform algorithm changes to ensure best‑in‑class execution.Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing or content strategy.Proven experience managing social media channels and campaigns for brands (preferably in e‑commerce, fintech or tech sectors).Strong understanding of social media analytics, performance metrics and platform tools.Excellent writing and storytelling skills with strong visual sensibility.Deep understanding of Malaysian consumer behaviour, pop culture and content localisation practices.Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and creative partners.Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus due to regional coverage.Seniority level : Mid‑Senior level.
