Job descriptionTo perform dimensional measurement and quality inspection for in-process, finished, assembled parts and FA parts according to part drawings and specifications. To use variety of precision measuring instruments such as CMM, VMM, profilometer, indicators, height gauge, micro-meters and any other inspection gauges. Hands on handling CMM Zeiss Calypso is an added advantage. To review and interpret drawings (per ASME Y14.5M) and customer specification to perform visual and dimensional inspections. To review and verify all non-conformance items and issuing Non-Conformance Report when found during the inspection.
To ensure all parts are inspected promptly and released in a timely manner to avoid any line down-time.
- Develop and maintain QC inspection reports appropriately.
- Understanding customer FAIR requirements and ensuring 5S at workplace all times.
- To perform any other QC tasks required.
- SPM and above
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operating CMM machine.
- Operating CMM brand Zeiss Calypso would be extra advantage.
- Basic knowledge to interpret 2D technical drawing, GD&T, ISO2768
- Basic skill on handling manual metrology equipment. (example : caliper, micrometer, height gauge, depth gauge, profile projector)
- Basic knowledge on machining product requirement.
