Job description

Core Technical Requirements

Shopify Platform Expertise

  • Proficient in Liquid, Shopify's templating language, for theme customization and dynamic content
  • Experience with Shopify CLI, Storefront API, and Admin API for advanced functionality
  • Familiarity with Hydrogen (Shopify's React-based framework) and Oxygen hosting for headless builds

Front-End Development

  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue
  • Ability to create responsive, mobile-first designs with fast load times and accessibility compliance
  • Experience with metaobjects and metafields to support flexible content structures

    • Back-End & Integration

  • Knowledge of REST / GraphQL APIs for integrating ERP, CRM, and third-party services
  • Experience with webhooks, serverless functions, and custom app development
  • Ability to support localized storefronts, multi-currency, and international shipping logic

    • E-Commerce Optimization & Strategy

    Conversion & Performance

  • Implement CRO best practices, including A / B testing and funnel optimization
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and Hotjar for data-driven decisions
  • Optimize for SEO, structured data, and Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID) to boost rankings and user experience

    • Merchandising & Marketing Support

  • Build and manage landing pages, promotional banners, and seasonal campaigns
  • Support email marketing, upsell / cross-sell features, and loyalty programs
  • Enable smart search, filtering, and product comparison tools.
