Job description

Our Client : We are partnering with a US based MNC that specializes in high-performance electronic interconnect solutions. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Senior Process Engineer as part of their strategic growth.

Overview

Regional Senior Consultant - Industrial & Manufacturing at IntelliPro Group. Regional role focused on process engineering leadership in manufacturing environments for high-performance electronic interconnect solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement and validation projects using DOE, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies to enhance production performance.
  • Develop and standardize manufacturing best practices, process parameters, and work instructions to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and FMEA / PFMEA to identify risks and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Perform process capability and performance studies using statistical tools to ensure processes meet specifications and reliability targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, tooling validation, and process optimization.
  • Research and develop new manufacturing methods and technologies to drive innovation and long-term process improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operations and engineering teams to strengthen process knowledge and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering; exposure to product development is an advantage.
  • Strong foundation in Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, RCA).
  • Experience with project management and process improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and statistical tools for process optimization.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
