Position summary : As the Country Lead for eCommerce, you will drive the execution of our eCommerce strategy within the market, lead a high-performing team, and work in close collaboration with local and regional stakeholders. The role requires a seasoned leader with deep experience in the CPG and retail sectors, strong understanding of the evolving eCommerce landscape, and the ability to unlock business growth through innovative strategy and operational excellence. You will oversee the full eCommerce value chain across platforms including marketplaces, direct-to-consumer, and emerging models.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Play an integral role in local and regional Teams with extensive eCommerce expertise in CPG and retail sectors; develop and execute strategic and operational plans for the CPG & Retail vertical; align country strategies with regional goals for profitability.
- Resource Management : Oversee efficient allocation of country resources; develop and implement training programs; ensure resources support immediate execution and long-term growth.
- Stakeholder Management : Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders; act as primary contact for key partners; represent the organization in high-level discussions and negotiations.
- Innovative Leadership : Drive differentiation and value creation; foster creativity and proactive problem-solving; track industry trends and adopt innovative practices across marketplaces, D2C, social commerce, and affiliate marketing.
- Brand Health & Performance Optimization : Track brand health metrics; conduct regular reviews with brands and optimize digital channels, marketplaces, and ecosystems; monitor KPIs for growth and profitability.
- Business Development & Account Management : Drive new opportunities, upsell / cross-sell, manage accounts, ensure financial alignment and reporting; build long-term client partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.A minimum of 12 years experience in the CPG sector with strong eCommerce and retail / brand management focus.Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments; strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.Innovative mindset with a passion for driving growth and achieving objectives.Technical Competencies
