About the role

We are seeking a talented Tax Associate to join our dynamic team at PRO B CENTRE SDN BHD. As a Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to our diverse client base.

This full-time position is based in our Kuala Lumpur office, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Preparing accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate tax, personal tax, and indirect tax filings.

Assisting with tax planning and structuring to optimise clients' tax positions.

Conducting tax research and analysis to provide clients with well-informed recommendations.

Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless tax compliance and efficient tax management.

Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure clients' tax affairs are handled appropriately.

Providing support in various tax-related projects and initiatives.

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax advisory or compliance, preferably in a professional services firm or a corporate tax department.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions.

Proficient in the use of tax software and technology to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

A professional attitude and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional tax qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or IPTA) would be an advantage.
