About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Multimedia Intern to join our dynamic team at GimMedia Sdn Bhd, based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a contract position, offering you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of multimedia production and content creation.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the creation of a variety of multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and animations
Collaborating with the design and marketing teams to develop engaging and visually appealing assets
Conducting research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia
Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate new and innovative ideas
Providing support in the editing and post-production process
Completing other tasks as assigned by the team to contribute to the overall success of the company

What we're looking for

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program, such as Multimedia, Graphic Design, or Communications

Strong creative and artistic skills, with a keen eye for design and visual storytelling

Proficiency in using multimedia software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)

Familiarity with video and audio editing, as well as basic animation techniques

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the multimedia industry
