What you'll be doing?
- Research Excellence : Conduct in-depth research on accounting and auditing standards to stay at the forefront of industry best practices.
- Quality Assurance : Assist in performing thorough quality assurance reviews on audit engagement files, ensuring compliance and excellence in audit practices.
- Process Improvement : Help prepare and update audit working paper templates and checklists, contributing to the enhancement of audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training Support : Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs for auditors, focusing on auditing and accounting standards to elevate team competencies.
Who are they looking for?
Professional Qualification : Possess a professional qualification and / or Honours degree in Accounting, demonstrating your commitment to the field.Professional Membership : A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), showcasing your dedication to professional standards.Audit Experience : Minimum 4 years of external audit experience, with an advantage given to those who have worked with major or medium-sized auditing firms or accounting bodies.Legal and Standards Knowledge : Good understanding of Companies Act, Accounting and Auditing Standards, essential for navigating the regulatory landscape.Communication Skills : Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written) to effectively convey complex information.Self-Motivation : A motivated and results-oriented individual who can work independently and manage priorities effectively.Time Management : Ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and handle pressure with ease.Technical Proficiency : Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other day-to-day office applications.How to apply
