Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within construction, manufacturing, or heavy machinery industries. Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, OSHA 1994, EIA, DOE, and CIDB requirements. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) is an added advantage.
We are looking for a detailed and dedicated Executive / Senior Executive – Project (Environmental , Safety & Health) to join one of our division in Sunway Trading & Manufacturing. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our QESH (Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health) Management System, ensuring full compliance with ISO 45001, OSHA 1994, and other relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the QESH Management System in line with regulatory and international standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Liaise with authorities (e.g. DOSH, DOE, CIDB) and ensure all safety documentation and licenses are up to date.
- Support machinery operations and training programs by ensuring ESH compliance and competency development.
- Participate in ESH Committee meetings and promote safety awareness across all levels.
- Monitor heavy equipment loading / unloading procedures and GPS fleet tracking systems.
- Stand in for training coordination and plant / machinery licensing when required.
