Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Engineer and Data Modeller to understand data sources, transformation logic, and business requirements for the project
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with the project’s data architecture, ensuring consistency across bronze and gold layers
• Document and maintain metadata, including data dictionaries, field definitions, business rules, and transformation mappings, within Data Hub or other metadata management tools.
• Analyse source-to-target data mapping to ensure accuracy and completeness of transformation logic.
• Work with stakeholders to capture business definitions, KPIs, and data usage requirements.
• Conduct data profiling and quality analysis to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies
• Partner with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data privacy, anonymization, and classification standards
• Support testing and validation of transformed datasets to ensure they meet business and technical specifications
• Provide ongoing updates and clear documentation to ensure transparency across the project lifecycle
