Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnosis, and medical condition.
Provide therapy and interventions to patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, and geriatric).
Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques, communication strategies, and swallowing safety.
Document assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes accurately in medical records.
Support patients recovering from neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease) and other medical conditions affecting communication and swallowing.
Conduct therapy for pediatric patients with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other communication disorders (if applicable).
Job Requirements :
Bachelor Degree in Speech Therapy / Speech Pathology with Honours from an accredited university by Malaysian Association of Speech-Language and Hearing
2-3 years of working experience in a setting / s that manages paediatrics and / or adult populations.
Must possess a valid MAHPC licence (Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council).
Prior hospital or clinical experience is needed.
