Responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality, operational efficiency, and equipment reliability. This role combines process engineering and technical maintenance expertise to support continuous improvement and smooth production operations within the food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
A. Process Optimization & Improvement
- Analyze current production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement process enhancements to improve yield, cycle time, and product quality.
- Collaborate with QA teams to implement new process changes effectively.
- Conduct time studies, data analysis, and process validations to ensure consistent output.
- Develop and revise SOPs, Work Instructions, and training materials related to process flow.
- Lead small-scale improvement projects (Kaizen / Lean / TPM) and monitor their impact.
- Provide training to operators and new staff on updated procedures or process changes.
B. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
Operate, monitor, and maintain key production machinery including retort, seaming, sealing, piston compressor, and air conditioning / HVAC systems.Perform troubleshooting and hands-on repair to minimize downtime.Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.Maintain discipline in updating maintenance logs and spare parts records.Raise and follow up spare part purchase requests; manage inventory levels effectively.Support safe and GMP-compliant machine operation and maintenance.C. Cross-functional & Reporting
Support audit preparations by providing process and maintenance documentation.Coordinate with Production, QA, and R&D to ensure smooth process transition and equipment readiness.Report performance metrics and improvement results to management.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Additional certifications in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) are an advantage.Proven experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry.Strong background in process optimization, troubleshooting, and equipment improvement.Hands-on knowledge of retort, seaming, sealing machines, piston compressors, and HVAC systems.Skilled in data analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, or TPM).Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs.Knowledge of spare parts inventory and purchasing processes.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Language : MUST be able to write, type, speak & read in MANDARIN.COACHABLE, organized, disciplined, and able to train new staff.CRITICAL THINKER with strong problem-solving and analytical ability.Willing to work flexible hours or shifts when required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
