Technical Support Manager

Technical Support Manager, based in KL, who is able to travel to different parts of the world

Their equipment is used in academic institutions, research labs, and training centres, helping to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Your new role

Provide post-sales technical support to customers and pre-sales technical support to the sales team across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on universities and colleges. Regular travel across the region and remote support are required.

Work with the Installation Training and Commissioning Manager and regional sales management to allocate technical support resources for the APAC region.

Be available for on-site and remote installation, commissioning, and training activities in APAC.

Respond to support enquiries from universities, colleges, and technical staff.

Provide product demonstrations, showcasing how equipment enhances undergraduate teaching in disciplines such as engineering and science.

What you'll need to succeed

Extensive travel across the Asia Pacific region.

Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu is advantageous.

Commercial Awareness : Be aware of the cost implications of proposed solutions. Gather commercial intelligence to share with the regional sales team.

Cultural Sensitivity : Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and academic institutions across the region.
