Responsibilities
- Active tracking on overall financial performance and strategic delivery for the company to local and regional management. This includes :
- Preparation of compelling presentations and communication materials to management
- Effectively report and maintain management information dashboards
- Act as a proactive business partner across Actuarial, Finance, Marketing & Distribution (Agency and Partnership Distribution) to provide value and support and deliver financial and strategic objectives. This includes, but is not limited to :
- Marketing campaigns and distribution incentives financial assessments (e.g., IRR, cost-benefit analysis)
- Communicate financial impact effectively across functions
- End-to-end facilitation of approvals
- Provide drivers on growth metrics and business strategies for holistic reporting and forecasts of financial KPIs
- Facilitate review and approval of distribution incentives and sales models to ensure delivery of financial and strategic returns on investment
- Perform data analytics on key driving indicators to provide qualitative and quantitative outcomes with recommended solutions to senior management
- Be part of special projects on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications
Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering or other numerate disciplineKnowledge / Experience
Demonstrated good business acumen and problem-solving abilitiesStrong financial disciplines including financial analysis and translating financial policy into practical realityActive communicator who can articulate concepts effectivelyStrong organization and project management skillsAbility to provide quality coaching and mentoring to facilitate team developmentExperience with Power Query and Power BI for data transformation, visualization, and dashboard development; basic coding skills are a plusEqual Opportunity
