Job Description

Capable of working closely with business users and technical teams to gather and translate payment system requirements (Swift etc.) into clear deliverables such as user stories or functional documents, and support through testing and rollout

Skilled in assessing proposed changes, conducting impact analysis, and recommending improvements, while driving solution design and validation; hands-on in creating and running test scenarios, investigating issues, and ensuring fixes are properly resolved

Experienced in using a variety of requirement-gathering techniques including workshops, interviews, prototype reviews, surveys, and documentation analysis

Comfortable working under different delivery approaches, whether structured (Waterfall), incremental, or Agile, including large-scale projects

Able to engage with developers on technical discussions and problem-solving, while also liaising with vendor R&D and business stakeholders to bridge product knowledge and system needs

Strong in analyzing large sets of data, identifying key trends, and documenting insights for decision-making

Capable of guiding projects or mentoring junior analysts depending on project scope

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Analyst should have :

A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field

Over 4 years of experience as a Business or Technical Analyst in the payments space, with hands-on exposure to Swift payment systems

Practical knowledge of ISO / CBPR+ standards

Background in working with payment processing and routing platforms

Skilled in preparing detailed requirement specifications (BRD, FRD, FSD) and coordinating user acceptance testing with business teams

Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, and working under both Agile and Waterfall delivery models

Advanced use of Excel and Visio

Strong communicator able to explain technical and business requirements clearly across different stakeholder groups

Good to have :

Basic grasp of programming principles, object-oriented design, and message queue technologies

Exposure to CI / CD
