Job descriptionCost Estimation : Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects, including materials, labor, and overheads. Tendering Process : Support the preparation of tender documents and assist in evaluating contractor bids. Procurement Support : Help with the selection of contractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and contract terms. Cost Management : Track project costs, monitor and report on project expenditure, and help identify potential cost overruns. Measurement and Valuation : Assist in measuring and valuing completed work to ensure correct payments are made to contractors. Contracts Administration : Support the management of contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly reports for project managers and senior staff, outlining cost status, risks, and forecasts. Site Visits : Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, ensure quality, and gather information for cost-related decisions. Risk Management : Identify and monitor risks related to project budgets and timeframes and suggest mitigation strategies. Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Other duties will be assigned by management.
