The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and streamlining YHPL’s core business operations, including finance and compliance, administration, sales support, inventory management, and HR-related processes. This role ensures efficiency, compliance, and smooth coordination across departments to support business growth.
Year-End & Statutory Compliance
- Plan and coordinate annual audit requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary.
- Prepare supporting schedules, board resolutions, and statutory lodgements.
- Ensure compliance with annual returns and statutory documentation.
Administrative Support
Oversee general office operations (procurement, office supplies, refreshments).Manage office equipment, premises, and renewals (licenses, quit rent, assessments).Handle company vehicles (road tax, insurance renewal, fleet card applications).Sales Administration & Coordination
Verify and approve all sales invoices, cash sales, and credit notes.Maintain accurate sales reports by quantity and value.Oversee and guide Sales Coordinator to ensure smooth sales processes.Inventory & Costing Management
Supervise monthly stock count and reconciliation.Investigate stock discrepancies (damaged, expired, shortfalls).Prepare costing for new shipments and maintain updated cost records.Ensure accurate reporting for audit and compliance purposes.Payroll & HR Support
Oversee payroll processing (salaries, commissions, incentives, overtime).Ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).Review annual staff income statements and remuneration reports.
