Job Description
- To ensure high reliability and effectiveness of all functions and operations activities of plant control system and instrumentation, including troubleshooting, modification, repairs and ensuring the efficient running of the Engineering Control & Instrumentation team.
- Assist in enforcing the company rules & regulations and implementation of ISO 9001 / GMP requirements and safety & health practices.
- To execute all activities related to GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM, PLC system, controller, sensor system and other automation systems in the plant.
- To carry out checklists and inspection of GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation systems of the plant.
- To execute plant maintenance to ensure that all GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation system components are functioning properly and to assist any plant machine or equipment breakdown promptly and properly.
- To execute GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation systems’ tuning and alignment according to required accuracy and frequency.
- To involve in GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation systems’ continuous improvement plan.
- To involve in installation and testing of new GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation systems.
- To report on the GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation systems’ matters including repairs, personnel needs, spare parts, and supplies.
- To learn operational knowledge of GSR, ASM, glove puller, CDS machines, vision systems, APM and other automation control systems and instrumentation of the plant.
- To follow the quality system procedures and work instructions of the department.
- To work in a team in order to carry out engineering functions effectively.
- To execute any projects or tasks assigned by the superior.
- To be involved in troubleshooting of control & instrumentation equipment of production lines, utilities, compounding and machinery.
- Ready for on-call duty after working hours. Willing to work on shift.
- To keep spare part cost within the allocated budget.
- To achieve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) target set up by the Company.
- To achieve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) target for the plant.
- To achieve production line breakdown time target for the plant.
- To achieve online rejection rate target for the plant.
- To perform 5S practice in workshop and factory area.
- To contribute to Kaizen event or Kaizen program for continuous improvements.
- To ensure activities carried out observe good health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Control Instrumentation, Mechatronic Engineering or Equivalent.Minimum 1 year working with Control and instrumentation. Fresh graduates with good attitude and initiative shall be considered.Knowledge on basic wiring and sensor and mechanical part installation.Knowledge on PLC (Siemens, Fatek).Additional information
