About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company in Johor Bahru as their Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and operations, particularly as it prepares for an upcoming IPO. What you'll be doing
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Provide strategic financial advice to the leadership team to support business objectives and decision-making
- Lead the preparation and filing of all financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory compliance
- Implement robust internal controls and processes to ensure financial integrity
- Manage the accounting team and mentor more junior staff
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial operations and systems
- Support the company's IPO readiness by overseeing relevant financial workstreams
