Legal Manager (Fintech Company)

Overview

Our client is a market leader in the Fintech industry in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Provide clear legal advice on the Company's projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations.
• Supervise and mentor Junior Legal Counsels where required.
• Support the Legal Department with administrative and operational tasks.
• Monitor and follow up on post-contract matters to ensure timely execution and compliance.
• Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments, particularly in corporate, financial, and fintech sectors.
• Identify potential areas of legal risk and recommend practical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the Company's business objectives.
• Undertake ad-hoc legal assignments to support the effective running of the Legal Department.
