Responsibilities :
- Serve as the highest level of escalation for complex PC, laptop, printer, copier, and telephone issues.
- Lead the procurement, imaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of all end-user hardware.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT equipment setup and support.
- Manage the company mobile phone program, including subscriptions, deployments, and policies.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems and electronic door access systems. Manage user access rights and review access logs as needed.
- Integrate and maintain time attendance systems with the door access and HR / payroll systems.
- Manage the office PABX system, including extensions, hunt groups, and liaising with telephony vendors.
- Oversee and perform structured cabling (copper and Fiber) for data and voice in the office and branch locations.
- Manage and maintain Wireless Access Points (APs) to ensure comprehensive and secure Wi-Fi coverage.
- Maintain the physical server room / infrastructure closet, racking, air-conditioning and environmental monitoring.
- Manage the company's software assets and licensing for all deployed applications.
- Administer print management solutions to control costs, enforce printing policies, and track usage and config / troubleshoot handheld scanner & printer.
- Ensure all software is compliant with licensing agreements.
- Act as the primary IT contact for all branch offices and subsidiaries, providing remote and on-site support.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT infrastructure setup for new plant, branch offices or office moves.
- Ensure all plant, branch IT operations adhere to the company's IT policies and security standards.
- Liaise and manage relationships with multiple vendors (hardware suppliers, cabling contractors, telcos like TM / Maxis, security system integrators).
- Manage service contracts and ensure vendors meet their SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Communicate effectively with staff from various departments regarding IT-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience :
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a similar IT support / infrastructure role, with proven experience managing the above technologies.Deep expertise in troubleshooting and supporting :Windows 10 / 11 and client’s environment.PC hardware, printers, copiers, handhelds, label printer.CCTV and Door Access systems.PABX systems and corporate telephony system.Strong practical knowledge of network cabling, Wi-Fi configurations, and network switching, MDF / IDF Closet Management.Proven experience dealing with IT vendors and service providers.Full professional proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin or other dialects is a strong advantage for liaising with vendors and end-users.Professional certifications such as MCP, MCTS, A+, or vendor-specific certifications for CCTV / Access Control will be added advantages.Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation of desktop tasks.Understanding of ITIL framework for incident, problem, and asset management.Experience with Unified Communications systems.Excellent customer service orientation and patience in dealing with non-technical users.Strong organizational and asset management skills.Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel to branch offices when required and perform occasional after-hours work.Note : This description reflects responsibilities and requirements as provided.
