ACCA Careers invites applications for the Tax Consulting Assistant - Tax Dispute Resolution role located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This position supports the Tax Dispute Resolution group, an experienced team dedicated to managing tax risk and enhancing tax strategy.

Description

The Tax Dispute Resolution group works closely with tax authorities and handles cases across various industries in tax audits and investigations. The assistant assists senior tax professionals in executing assignments and developing best practices.

Responsibilities

Assist Tax Consultants, Tax Managers, and Tax Directors with tax assignments.
Conduct research to support project development and practice improvement.
Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for client engagements.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Recognized university degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification from an accredited accounting or taxation body.

Audit and / or corporate tax experience is an added advantage.

Strong analytical skills, self‑motivated, organized, and capable of multitasking and independent work.

Team player ready to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary professionals.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
