Job description

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing.
  • Solid understanding of account reconciliation and general ledger processes.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and other necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records, both physical and electronic.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and generate reports.
