Inside Sales Account Executive (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia)
Overview
To promote the company’s products via tele-sales, meeting customer needs, and contributing to the achievement of sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Promote and upsell the company’s products to customers.
- Retain customers through inbound and outbound calls.
- Maximize sales opportunities during each interaction to meet sales targets.
Primary Duties
Negotiate and close business deals with customers.Collaborate with Marketing and customers to finalize deals.Manage order entries and acknowledgments.Prepare semi-annual account review reports.Conduct business reviews with customers twice a year.Proactively seek guidance from the Group Manager / Director to enhance skills and business knowledge.Report business challenges to the Group Manager / Director and work on resolving obstacles.Effectively manage customer backorders.Collect payments from customers and manage accounts receivable (AR).Reduce stranded and excess inventory (S&E).Qualifications and Experience
Education : A Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent is required for this position.Experience : 3 to 5 years in sales, ideally in fast-moving goods or services. Prior experience working in a call center or tele-sales experience is an advantage.Competencies
Strong telephone etiquette and experience in customer handling.Results-driven, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Highly motivated with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Fluency in a second language is a plus.This position is based in our office located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
