Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver effective training workshops on Cambridge Early Years pedagogy and curriculum implementation.
- Mentor and coach Early Years teachers to improve classroom practices, focusing on play-based and inquiry-led learning.
- Support teachers in lesson planning, assessment, and the use of Cambridge resources.
- Facilitate teacher induction and ongoing professional development programs.
- Collaborate with school leadership to monitor teaching standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote teacher well-being and psychological safety in training sessions and mentoring relationships.
- Liaise with Cambridge International for curriculum updates and training resources.
- Lead initiatives to enhance parental engagement and community understanding of Early Years education.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field.Cambridge teaching qualification (e.g., Cambridge Certificate or equivalent).Minimum 5 years teaching experience in Early Years or Primary in an international or Cambridge curriculum school.Skills & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in an international school (preferably Cambridge curriculum).Experience training, mentoring, or supporting teachers in a professional development context.Familiarity with Early Years education, play-based learning, and inquiry-led approaches (prior EY classroom experience is an advantage).Strong knowledge of Cambridge curriculum standards and teaching philosophy.Understanding of early childhood development (ages 3–6).Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to coach, observe, and give constructive feedback to educators.Organized, reflective, and proactive in managing teacher development.Application information
