Job Purpose :
- In the Cluster Delivery Organization, Business Specialists, Business Experts, Engineer Specialists, Engineers, Administrators and Product Owners work together in a team. Agile methods help employees perform their functions by enabling a fast and flexible response to changing conditions and customer needs through an iterative approach and continuous development of new solutions.
- This approach aims at better products, higher quality, more efficient processes and faster implementation. This will ensure that valuable functionalities are delivered to the customer and that existing products, processes and services are further developed in a customer-oriented manner.
- In order to achieve this, the employees work autonomously, with guidance from senior team members, and are self-organized with evolving independence. For this purpose, team members are gradually entrusted with responsibility for processes and systems that are necessary for their respective products, processes, and services. Open communication between team members ensures regular and timely feedback. - The Junior Specialist is utilized in areas aligned with their current knowledge level and experience, gaining exposure to different cells and chapters over time to build flexibility, knowledge, and skills that contribute to cross-cluster collaboration in the future.
Key Activities :
Support troubleshooting, problem investigation, and monitoring under guidance, while building foundational skills in performance analysis and optimization.Assist in the execution of disaster recovery tasks and learn about security management planning through collaboration with senior team members.Contribute to optimization initiatives and gain exposure to process-technical concepts under supervision, with a focus on learning and understanding.Provide basic customer support and consulting assistance for services and tasks assigned to the Junior Specialist’s responsibility.Learn to ensure adherence to internal and external requirements, particularly with regard to regulatory, reporting, compliance, and audit processes under clear supervision, applying best practices as guided.Perform basic tasks related to the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the infrastructure, including data maintenance, reporting, and authorization management, under close oversight.Follow security standards and contribute to stable operation regarding assigned tasks for products, services, processes, and systems under regular guidance.Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support only as part of structured learning opportunities and with the supervision of senior colleagues.Build teamwork skills and engage in proactive communication with internal customers while actively seeking feedback and guidance to grow in the role.Assist in planning and deploying RHEL application servers in production following defined processes, under the close guidance and supervision of senior team members.Perform basic maintenance and updates of productive systems, focusing on learning system structures and processes.Provide 2nd level support for the responsible IT systems with assistance from more experienced colleagues, while escalating issues appropriately for resolution.Observe and participate in the analysis and resolution of incidents and problems to build foundational troubleshooting skills.Assist in the implementation of changes and releases within the responsible area, under structured guidance and with limited responsibility.Contribute to the documentation of the systems used (Asset Database), focusing on accuracy and clarity.Support technical activities to maintain production operations, gaining exposure to practices that ensure system reliability and stability.Begin to develop a working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and work toward achieving basic certifications such as RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator).Acquire an understanding of Cloud Technology platforms such as Azure, GCP, and Google BMS, and assist in providing support for RHEL systems deployed on these platforms with hands-on coaching.Gain an introductory understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware, through shadowing and supervised tasks.Begin learning basic programming concepts in Python, source-code tools like Git, and CI / CD practices (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins). Work under guidance to gain familiarity with APIs such as Red Hat Satellite API, Azure, GCP, VMware APIs, and MS Defender for Endpoint Linux.Learn and assist with tasks related to Ansible (or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform), SALT, and Puppet, focusing on basic automation processes.Collaborate with mentors to support the deployment of RHEL application servers based on defined processes, with opportunities to observe full lifecycle deployments.Assist in identifying and categorizing deficiencies through regular health checks, contributing to resolving system issues under supervision.Gain introductory exposure to middleware components (e.g., Tivoli, Backup, Nessus) through learning activities and assigned tasks.Learn about and provide basic assistance with security-related tasks, including SIEM monitoring, security patching, and PAM processes, with close guidance from senior administrators.Perform predefined MS Defender tasks (e.g., configuration changes, scan defect resolution, network failures) under strict supervision, escalating as required.Build a foundational understanding of OpenShift administration, focusing on hands-on learning tasks assigned by mentors.Assist in basic OS basis monitoring activities while developing skills to identify system behavior and performance issues under structured guidance.Gain hands-on experience writing small scripts and executing batch tasks, focusing on automating repetitive system processes under supervision.Participate in server migration projects in a supportive role, learning the processes and tools used in migration activities while contributing incrementally based on skill level.Education
University / University of Applied Sciences or equivalent professional experienceAt least 1 years of professional experienceExperience in IT operations; has own responsibility for systems and / or complex processesgood experience in infrastructure and operating systems
